I am such a sucker for this style of jewelry. I have decided these are from the 1930’s, as the stones tend to be in the colors of the silk velvet that was used in the bias evening gowns of that era. This deep blue would look smashing on a sapphire blue gown; sadly, I have sold mine, or this would stay in my collection. I think the overall design is really lovely, with the filigree framing both the center oval, and the small side rondelles.
measureing 2 & 13/16″ x 1 & 1/2″, stones have no foil backing and the edges are crisp. No makers marks. Clasp is good.
